On the 11th of the 10th, Ren Xiaotie, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress and Chairman of the Environmental Resources Committee, led the Provincial People's Congress Research Group to visit Letaron Zero Carbon Factory to conduct a special investigation on the implementation of "dual carbon" development in the industrial park. Zheng Guohong, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Cai Jianbin, Chairman of the Hengli Town People's Congress, and Zhong Qianzi, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, accompanied the survey.
Letaron Zero Carbon Factory is not only the first zero carbon industrial park in Hengli Town and Dongguan City, but also one of the earliest industrial parks in China to actively practice green development with "zero carbon" as the standard. It has accumulated rich construction and operation experience and has successively won the carbon neutrality pilot project of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and the carbon neutrality standardization pilot project of industrial parks in Guangdong Province.
On the afternoon of the 11th, the research team conducted an in-depth visit to the Letaron Zero Carbon Factory and had face-to-face communication with the company's leaders. They gained a detailed understanding of the company's business situation, the implementation path of the zero carbon industrial park, zero carbon solutions, and external replication and promotion. They also visited the Letaron Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing and other laboratories on site to discuss the effectiveness and role of the company in creating and operating a one-stop service platform for National Quality Infrastructure (NQI).
Letaron Zero Carbon Factory is a smart zero carbon industrial park developed by Letaron Optoelectronics based on the innovative development path of "green manufacturing", "intelligent manufacturing", and "service-oriented manufacturing" in the optoelectronic industry. It is built around the core goal of "high-quality innovative development of the optoelectronic industry and sustainable development of the industrial park, achieving industrial upgrading and park upgrading". The park scientifically manages and monitors carbon emissions such as "infrastructure construction", "industrial manufacturing", "transportation and lifestyle", in order to achieve "zero impact on climate, zero fossil energy consumption", cross-border integration of innovative technologies such as "green buildings", "smart energy", and "carbon asset management", forming a zero carbon industrial park full lifecycle management model.
Ren Xiaotie fully affirmed the achievements of Letaron Optoelectronics in implementing the "dual carbon" strategy and building a green and low-carbon industrial park. He encouraged that Letaron should base itself on Hengli Town in Dongguan City and the actual situation of enterprises, accelerate energy and industrial structure adjustment through investigation and research, upstream and downstream linkage, comprehensively enhance the carbon peak and carbon neutrality capacity of industrial parks, further reduce carbon emissions of industrial parks, and ensure that carbon peak and carbon neutrality work is actively and steadily promoted.
